First was the bunny cake for Easter. I have been making this cake every year for the past few years. It is a yellow cake baked into 2 round pans. One pan is the face and the other is cut to make the bow tie and ears. It is so simple and cute!

Missing cakes
I know there hasn't been a post in a few months with the warmer weather I tend to stay away from the kitchen as much as possible. There have been a few cakes baked since The tea party that I would like to share pictures of.
First was the bunny cake for Easter. I have been making this cake every year for the past few years. It is a yellow cake baked into 2 round pans. One pan is the face and the other is cut to make the bow tie and ears. It is so simple and cute!
The next cake was for my step daughter's birthday. I made a chocolate cake and I bought this edible topper online.. It ripped when I was putting it on so I had to "doctor" it up a little but it still came out cute.
So I promise to get back in the kitchen this month for some more cake adventures!!!
